Ingredients For dill bread

  • 1 pkg
    dry yeast
  • 1 c
    cottage cheese/creamed
  • 1 Tbsp
    melted butter
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    soda
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    dill seed
  • 1
    egg/unbeated
  • 1 Tbsp
    onion powder
  • 1
    egg/unbeated
  • 2 1/2 c
    all purpose flour

How To Make dill bread

  • 1
    -Dissolve yeast in 1/4 c warm water
    -mix together cottage cheese and melted butter, seasonings, egg and onion powder
  • 2
    - add yeast mixture
    -Gradually add flour
    -Knead for 8-10 minutes

    - let rise until double in bulk/app. 1 hr.
    -knead again app. 2 min.
    -pour into greased loaf pan
  • 4
    Let rise again until double in bulk
    Bake 300 for 50 minutes
    When done brush with butter and salt
