crunchy french toast
Ok I adopted this recipe and I have made it my own with a couple of changes. This used to call for coconut and corflakes, I omitted the coconut because it burned on me very quick. I also changed the bread from white to wheat, substituted the cornflakes for Kellogs honey and oats corflakes. Added confectioners sugar and Vanilla. I also substituted the coconut for coconut milk! Yummyy

Ingredients For crunchy french toast

1egg
-
1/3 ccoconut milk ( you can also use vanilla soy milk) for you that can't tolerate dairy.

2 tspsugar

1/4 tspcinnamon
-
1/3 ccrushed cornflakes (i used kellogs honey and oats)

3 Tbspbutter, you will need more than this (just keep adding as needed)

4 slicewheat bread
-
1 tspvanilla
-
2 Tbspconfectioners' sugar set aside( aas much as you need)
How To Make crunchy french toast

1Blend egg, milk, Vanilla, sugar and cinnamon.

2Dip bread in egg mixture, then in corn flakes

3Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.

4Brown in skillet until light golden on both sides, turning once.

5Serve with maple syrup and a touch of Confectioners sugar.
