I could not get the half measure to work so I will give the correct ingredients here. 1 c warm water.1 large egg beaten.4 1/2 tsp.oil. 3 1/2 c flour.1/4 c sugar.1 1/2 tsp salt 2 1/4 tsp yeast, very good bread. I think it takes about 2 hours for the dough cycle

Ingredients For country white bread

  • 1 c
    warm water
  • 1 lg
    egg beaten
  • 5 tsp
    oil
  • 4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/4 c
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 2 tsp
    yeast

How To Make country white bread

    Put all ingredients into a bread machine in the order given

    set on dough cycle

    remove and let rest for 10 minutes covered lightly

    Now shape and put into a greased loaf pan and let raise in a warm place till doubled about 30 minutes

    Now bake at 350 degree oven for 35 minutes

    when finished baking brush with melted butter
