Ingredients For cornbread cakes

  • 1 c
    yellow cornmeal
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 1/4 c
    buttermilk
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter, melted
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1
    egg, beaten

How To Make cornbread cakes

  • 1
    Mix cornmeal and salt together.
  • 2
    Add egg then buttermilk. Beat until smooth.
  • 3
    Drop by Tablespoon of batter onto greased griddle or skillet. Brown on both sides.

    Serve immediately.
