Ingredients For christmas morning sausage roll

  • 4 c
    flour
  • 1/4 c
    corn meal
  • 1/4 c
    sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 2/3 c
    vegetable oil
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 2 lb
    hot or mild ground sausage

How To Make christmas morning sausage roll

  • 1
    combine flour,meal,sugar,baking powder and salt.Sift together in large bowl. Stir in vegetable oil.Add milk and blend. Add a couple extra tablespoons of milk if necessary to form a stiff dough. Roll in a rectangle on a lightly floured surface. Spread on sausage and roll jelly-roll fashion lengthwise. Wrap in waxed paper and chill or freeze. When ready to use slice and bake at 350 degrees for 18 to 20 minutes. Serve warm.
