Ingredients For berry cream scone

  • 1 c
    flour
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/8 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1
    zest of lemon
  • 4 Tbsp
    butter, cold
  • 1/4 c
    heavy cream
  • 1 lg
    egg
  • 1/2 c
    berries

How To Make berry cream scone

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  • 2
    Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and lemon zest.
  • 3
    Cut in butter with fork or fingers until mixture resembles crumbs.

    In a small bowl whisk cream and egg.
  • 5
    Pour cream/egg into dry ingredients and blend until combined.
  • 6
    Fold in berries.
  • 7
    Spray scone pan with cooking spray.

    Spoon dough into pan.

    Bake 12 - 15 minutes.

    Cool in pan for 5 minutes.
