What can I say, I like cornbread... I've made it many different ways over the years, but this is my go to recipe. It's quick. Easy. The kids inhale it. Hope you like it as much as we do!

Ingredients For bay's legit cornbread

1 1/3 call purpose flour

1 cyellow cornmeal
-
6 Tbspsugar

2 Tbspbaking powder
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
4 Tbspvegetable oil
-
2eggs
-
1/2 cmilk
-
1 cancreamed corn
-
2 Tbspbutter
How To Make bay's legit cornbread

1Heat #8 cast iron skillet in 400° oven

2Whisk all dry ingredients together in a large mixing bowl

3Add all else and whisk into batter

4Remove heated skillet, melt butter in the heated cast iron, pour batter into skillet and cook for 15 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean
