PLEASE NOTE: I HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH THE PUBLISHERS OF THIS RECIPE. THERE IS A MISTAKE IN IT SO PLEASE WAIT BEFORE TRYING IT. I WILL FIX THIS RECIPE ONCE I GET THE ERROR CORRECTED... This looks very easy. I haven't tried this yet, but plan to next time I make some bread. I will probably make it in my bread machine.

Ingredients For basic whole wheat bread (from the whole foods diabetic cookbook)
- IN A LARGE BOWL STIR TOGETHER
- UNTIL YEAST IS DISSOLVED:

1 Tbspmaple syrup

1 Tbspbaking yeast
-
2 1/2 cwarm water
- BEAT IN:

1 1/2 cwhole wheat flour
- MIX IN GRADUALLY:

1 1/2 cadditional whole wheat flour
How To Make basic whole wheat bread (from the whole foods diabetic cookbook)

1On a lightly floured surface, knead the dough until it's soft and springy.

2Form into a loaf and place in a lightly oiled 9x5 inch bread pan. Cover the pan with a clean table cloth and let rise until almost double in size.

3For bread machines follow the instructions for adding the wet/dry ingredients and adjust the amounts needed as per your machines instructions. When done turn out onto a wire rack and cool thoroughly before slicing.
