1/2 coats flour, see tip

1 cwhole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)

2 tspdried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi)

2 tspblack sesame seeds (kala til)

2 Tbspfat free, sugar free yogurt (dahi)

1/2 tspgarlic paste (lehsun)

1 tspgreen chilli paste

1/2 tspchilli powder
-
2 tspcanola oil
-
salt or salt sub to taste

whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta) for rolling
How To Make baked oat puri, diabetic

1Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and knead into a stiff dough using just enough water and this may vary by season.

2Divide the dough into 20 equal portions and roll out each portion into a 75 mm. (3”) diameter circle using a little whole wheat flour for rolling.

3Prick the rolled out puris with a fork at regular spacing.

4Arrange them on a baking tray and bake in a pre-heated oven at 200°c (400°f) for 20 minutes, turning them once after 10 minutes or till they turn crisp.

5Serve or store in an air-tight container.

6Tip: For 1/2 cup of oat flour, blend ½ cup of quick cooking rolled oats to a smooth powder.
