I first discovered these at a church covered-dish about 30 years ago. Now it's a family favorite we serve at Thanksgiving every year.

Ingredients For 60 minute hot rolls

2 pkgactive dry yeast in 1/2 cup warm water

1 1/2 cmilk, warmed

3 Tbspshortening
-
2 Tbspsugar

2 tspsalt

4 call purpose flour
How To Make 60 minute hot rolls

1Mix ingredients and let set 15 minutes.

2Make into rolls; cover and let rise 15 minutes.

3Bake at 425° for 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Brush with butter and serve hot.
