This is my recipe for Pecan Banana bread .. taken from other recipes and tweaked just the way i like it!

Ingredients For tasha's pecan banana bread

  • 1/2 c
    butter (softened)
  • 1 c
    brown sugar
  • 3 md
    bananas
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 2 lg
    eggs
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 2 c
    flour
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 tsp
    honey
  • 1/4 tsp
    all spice
  • 1 c
    chopped pecans

How To Make tasha's pecan banana bread

    Preheat oven to 325. Grease a loaf pan (when I made mine I double the recipe and get a loaf pan and 12 muffins out of it.)

    Mash Bananas

    In a large mixing bowl, beat together butter and brown sugar until creamed.

    Beat in eggs

    add vanilla and honey

    add mashed bananas

    in a separate bowl, combine flour, salt, baking powder, cinnamon and all spice. Gradually add this dry mixture into creamed mixture and mix well. (batter should be thick)

    Stir in chopped pecans

    Pour into greased loaf pan

    Bake at 325 for 70-80 minutes (if making muffins they take about half the time)
