Ingredients For strawberry muffins

2-1/2 cflour

1/2 csugar

2 tspbaking powder

1 tspbaking soda

1/2 tspsalt

1-1/2 cbuttermilk

1/3 cmelted butter

2eggs, slightly beaten

1 tspvanilla

1 ptfresh strawberries, hulled and chopped
How To Make strawberry muffins

1Line muffin cups with paper cupcake liners. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt; stir all ingredients until well blended.

2In another bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, butter, eggs and vanilla. Make a well in the middle of the dry ingredients and pour liquid mixture in and the strawberries. Using a large spoon, fold ingredients just until moistened. DO NOT OVERMIX.

3Spoon the batter evenly into 12 muffin cups. Sprinkle each muffin with 1/2 tsp. sugar, if desired. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
