Ingredients For spiced peach muffins

1/3 cbutter, room temp

1 csugar

2eggs
-
1/3 cwater
-
1/4 tspalmond extract

1 cfresh peaches, peeled and chopped

1 2/3 cflour

1 tspbaking powder
-
1/2 tspsalt

1/4 tspbaking soda

1 tspcinnamon
-
1/4 tspnutmeg
-
2 Tbspbrown sugar
-
2 Tbspalmonds or walnuts (optional)
How To Make spiced peach muffins

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy, ~1 minute. Beat in eggs, water, and almond extract. Stir in peaches.

2Combine flour, baking powder, salt, baking powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Add to wet mix. Beat to thoroughly combine.

3Pour roughly 2/3 full into paper lined standard muffin cups. Divide and top with brown sugar (and nuts if you are using them).

4Bake 18 minutes or until just golden brown and slightly springy to the touch. Serve warm or cool on wire racks and serve room temp.
