I have had this recipe for many years and I'm placing it here for safe-keeping. These muffins are so fresh and delicious -- resembles peach cobbler.

Ingredients For peach muffins

1extra large egg
-
1/2 csour cream (can use low fat)

1/2 cmilk
-
3 Tbspoil
-
1 tsppure vanilla extract

2 lgfresh peaches, peeled and diced

1/4 csugar
-
2 cflour
-
1 Tbspbaking powder
-
1/4 tspbaking soda
-
1/4 tspsalt
- TOPPING
-
1 Tbspmelted butter, unsalted

2 Tbspflour
-
2 Tbspsugar
-
1/8 tspcinnamon
How To Make peach muffins

1Combine egg, sour cream, milk, vanilla and oil. Mix well.

2In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, soda and salt.

3Combine dry ingredients into wet and mix thoroughly. In a bowl, sprinkle the 2 tbsp. sugar over the peaches and mix gently. Add peaches to batter and stir gently into the mix.

4Grease a muffin tin well and preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

5For topping - combine melted butter with flour sugar and cinnamon - mix well. Add topping to each muffin and bake for approximately 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into middle comes out clean.
