As part of the Heinz Pasta Sauce product testing project for Soup NZ, I made these muffins using Heinz pasta sauces. Delicious for any time of day.

Ingredients For pasta sauce muffins

  • 50 g
    melted butter
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 1 c
    heinz creamy tomato & parmesan pasta bake sauce
  • 2 c
    flour
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 c
    grated cheese
  • Pinch
    cayenne pepper

How To Make pasta sauce muffins

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 200C 1. Mix dry ingredients together, including grated cheese 2. In a cup, add egg to milk and mix well. Pour in melted butter and mix again (this is your milk mixture) 3. Make a well in dry ingredients and pour in milk mixture 4. Pour pasta sauce into milk mixture and combine everything into flour well 5. Spoon mix into a greased 12 muffin tray and top with a bit of grated cheese or pasta sauce if desired 6. Cook in 200C oven for 15-20 minutes
