3 cunprocessed wheat bran

1 cboiling water

1 cbrown sugar

1/2 cmelted butter

2 1/2 cunbleached white flour

2 tspbaking soda

2eggs beaten

2 cbuttermilk
How To Make oven ready bran muffins

1Mix 1 cup of wheat bran with boiling water, stir and let water absorb into bran

2in a seperate bowl blend sugar and butter . Measure and combine flour, baking soda. Combine the moist bran ,eggs, remaining 2 cups of bran and buttermilk,blended sugar-butter mixture until blended. Add nuts or berries if you choose.

3Place in refrigerator for future use or bake at once. When preparing to bake ,preheat oven to 400 deg. Stir batter spoon into prepared muffin tins. Bake 15 mins, Keep remaining mixture in airtight container for 2-4 weeks
