I love sticky buns. I found this in a Taste of Homes magazine and thought I would share.

Ingredients For orange-raisin sticky muffins

  • 1/4 c
    chopped raisins
  • 1 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/2 c
    chopped nuts
  • 1/3 c
    packed brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    melted butter
  • 2 Tbsp
    honey
  • 1/4 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 3 tsp
    baking powder
  • 2 c
    all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1
    egg
  • 2/3 c
    milk
  • 1/4 c
    honey
  • 1/3 c
    butter melted
  • 2 Tbsp
    grated orange peel

How To Make orange-raisin sticky muffins

    combine raisins, sugar and cinnamon; set aside.

    Topping: Combine nuts, brown sugar 2 tablespoons melted butter, 2 tablespoons honey, 1/4 tsp. cinnamon.

    Spoon 1 teaspoon into 12 greased muffin cups. Set aside.

    In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and salt.

    Beat egg, milk, honey, butter(1/3 cup) and orange peel; stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Spoon 1 tablespoon of batter into the prepared muffin cups; Sprinkle with raisin mixture. Top with the remaining batter.

    Bake at 375 for 16-20 minutes or until muffins test done. Cool for 5 minutes; invert pan into a lightly buttered foil-lined shallow baking pan. Serve warm
