Ingredients For maple walnut muffins

  • 2 c
    flour
  • 1 Tbsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 c
    butter, softened
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/2 c
    maple syrup
  • 2 lg
    eggs
  • 3/4 c
    milk
  • 1/2 c
    chopped walnuts

How To Make maple walnut muffins

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

    Line muffin pan with baking cups.
  • 3
    Sift the flour and baking powder together and set aside.
  • 4
    Cream the butter and sugar together, until light and fluffy.
  • 5
    Add in the maple syrup and the eggs. Beat until well blended.
  • 6
    Add the flour and milk alternately until well blended.

    Stir in the walnuts.
  • 8
    Spoon the batter into the muffin pan, filling each about 3/4 full.

    Baker for 20 minutes, until toothpick inserted comes out clean.

    Cool in pan 30 minutes.
