maple syrup muffins

My daughter came up w/ this recipe one day when she didn't have much in the house, but wanted something sweet. These are great w/ real butter and real maple syrup.

Ingredients For maple syrup muffins

  • 1-1/2 c
    flour
  • 1/4 c
    sugar
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 c
    butter
  • 1/4 c
    rolled oats
  • 1
    egg, beaten
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1/2 c
    real maple syrup

How To Make maple syrup muffins

  • 1
    Heat oven to 400. Spray a 12-muffin cup pan w/ cooking spray. In bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder and slat.

    Cut in butter until crumbly. Stir in oats. Add egg, milk and syrup. Stir until just moistened.

    Fill muffin cups, 3/4 full. Bake 18-20 min, or until a toothpick insreted in center comes out clean. Serve w/ butter and extra maple syrup.
