A good substitute for oatmeal in the morning.

Ingredients For honey oat muffins

  • 1 1/2 c
    quick cooking oats
  • 1 c
    flour
  • 1/3 c
    brown sugar
  • 3 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 lg
    egg
  • 2/3 c
    milk
  • 1/3 c
    vegetable oil
  • 1/4 c
    honey
  • 1 c
    dried berries

How To Make honey oat muffins

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

    Line muffin pan with papers.
  • 3
    Combine oats, flour, brown sugar and baking powder in a bowl.

    In another bowl, combine egg, milk, oil and honey.
  • 5
    Stir wet ingredients into dry ingredients until well combined.
  • These are the dried berries I use.

    Fold in dried berries.

    Fill muffin pan two-thirds full.

    Bake 15-18 minutes, until toothpick comes out clean.

    Cool in pan 5 minutes before removing to wire rack.
