3/4 cdried cherries

1/2 ccanola oil

1/2 cbrown sugar

3 lgeggs

1/4 choney

1 1/2 cbuttermilk

1 2/3 cflour

2 cwheat bran

1/2 cchopped almonds

How To Make honey cherry almond bran muffins

1To make the muffins, place cherries in heat proof bowl and cover with bowling water. Let stand for 10 minutes. Drain and roughly chop. Set aside.

2Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

3Spray 12 cup jumbo muffin tin with cooking spray. Line regular muffin pan with paper liners.

4Whisk together oil, brown sugar and eggs until smooth.

5Add honey, buttermilk and vanilla. Stir until well combined.

6Sprinkle baking powder and baking soda over the top of the egg mixture and stir until combined.

7Add the flour and wheat bran and stir until well mixed.

8Fold in the cherries and almonds.

9Scoop the batter into the muffin pans.

10Bake 5 minutes, then reduce heat to 375 degrees.

11Bake for 10 - 15 minutes. (Small muffins 10-12 and large 13-15.)

12Cool in muffin pan for 5 minutes.

13Prepare Glaze: Combine butter and honey in small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 30-40 seconds, until butter is melted. Stir well until smooth.

14Brush the honey butter on the tops of the muffins after removed from pan.
