These go great with soup. You can use any variation of dried herbs totaling 3 teaspoons. This is easily doubled.

Ingredients For herb muffins (using dried herbs)

1 call purpose flour

1/2 Tbspbaking powder

1/2 tspbaking soda

1/4 tspsalt

1 tspdried oregano

1 tspdried chives

1 tspdried rosemary

1egg
-
1/2 cbuttermilk
-
2 Tbspbutter, melted

1 tspsugar

1/4 cgrated parmesan cheese
How To Make herb muffins (using dried herbs)

1Preheat oven to 400F. Coat 6 standard size muffing cups with nonstick cooking spray.

2Combine dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl .

3In another smaller bowl combine egg, buttermilk, melted butter, sugar and parmesan. Mix well.

4Pour liquid mixture into dry ingredients, and stir just until blended. Do not over mix.

5Fill each muffin cup about 2/3 full.

6Bake 15 to 20 minutes.

7Cool a bit on wire rack and then turn them out, and serve warm.
