1 call purpose flour

1 cwhole wheat flour

1 1/2 tspbaking soda

1/2 tspbaking powder

1/2 tspsalt
-
1/2 cunsweetened applesauce

2eggs, or 4 egg whites, lightly beaten
-
1 cskim milk
-
1/2 cbrown sugar
-
2 tspvanilla extract
-
1/2 bag(60% or more cacao) dark chocolate chips
How To Make healthy and delicious chocolate chip muffins

1Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

2Spray pan with cooking spray. I use bakers joy with flour added.

3Mix the flours, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together in a medium bowl.

4In a large bowl stir together the applesauce, eggs, milk, brown sugar, and vanilla.
-
5Combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients and mix until just until combined. Careful not to overmix.

6Add chocolate chips.

7Fill each muffin cup to about 3/4 full.

8Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of muffin comes out clean.

9Place muffin pan on a wire rack to cool for about 5 minutes.

10Gently remove the muffins from the pan and place them on the wire rack to cool.
