Ingredients For healthier banana-chocolate chip muffins

  • 3 lg
    bananas
  • 3/4 c
    splenda
  • 1/4 c
    egg beaters
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 c
    flour
  • 1/2 c
    whole wheat flour
  • 1/3 c
    unsweetened applesauce
  • 1-1/2 c
    semisweet chocolate chips

How To Make healthier banana-chocolate chip muffins

    Heat oven to 375. Spray muffin tins w/ cooking spray, to prevent sticking. In bowl, mash bananas. Add splenda and egg beaters.

    Add in applesauce. Mix in dry ingredients. Stir in chocolate chips. Spoon batter 2/3-full into muffin cups.

    Bake 18-20 mins, or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
