    shortening
  • 1 c
    buttermilk
  • 1 1/2 c
    granola, any flavor, slightly crushed
  • 1 1/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda

How To Make granola buttermilk muffins

    Heat oven to 400.

    Grease bottoms of 12 medium muffin cups, 2 1/2x1 1/4\".

    Beat in brown sugar, shortening and buttermilk thoroughly.

    Stir in remaining ingredients just until flour is moistened (batter will be lumpy).

    Fill muffin cups 3/4 full.
