Ingredients For fruit & toasted oat muffin

  • 1/2 c
    rolled oats
  • 11/2 c
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 tsp
    ginger
  • 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    butter, melted
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1
    egg, beaten
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 lg
    apple, peeled & diced
  • 1/2 c
    raisins
  • OR TRY USING PEAR AND DRIED CHERRIES.

How To Make fruit & toasted oat muffin

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line muffin tin with papers.

    Put oats to baking sheet and bake 5 to 8 minutes.

    In a bowl, combine oats, flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and ginger. Whisk until combined.

    Add sugar, butter, milk, egg and vanilla and stir until combined.

    Gently stir in apple and raisins.

    Distribute batter into muffin tin.

    Bake 25-30 minutes. Cool in pan 30 minutes.
