Ingredients For cinnamon roll cupcakes

  • FOR THE CUPCAKES
  • 1 box
    butter flavor cake mix
  • 4
    eggs
  • 1 c
    buttermilk
  • 1/3 c
    oil
  • CINNAMON AND SUGAR FOR THE SWIL
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    cinnamon
  • STREUSEL TOPPINGS
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    flour
  • 1 Tbsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 1/4 c
    butter melted
  • GLAZE
  • 1/2 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1-2 Tbsp
    milk

How To Make cinnamon roll cupcakes

    Prepare cake mix, set aside
  • 2
    Combine cinnamon and sugar in small bowl, set aside
  • 3
    Streusel Topping Combine dry ingredients in a small bowl Melt Butter in microwave Add a small amount of butter at a time, stirring after each addition until the mixture is crumbly

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees

    Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners
  • 6
    Add about 1 tablespoons batter to the cupcake liners

    Sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar mixture

    Add more batter {about 1 tablespoons}over the cinnamon/sugar

    Sprinkle on Streusel Topping

    Bake for about 10-15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean

    Cool completely

    Glaze Add powdered sugar to a small bowl Slowly add milk until glaze becomes desired consistency Drizzle over cooled cupcakes
