Ingredients For chive muffins

  • 2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 Tbsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 Tbsp
    granulated sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 1 lg
    egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 1/4 c
    chopped fresh or freeze-dried chives
  • 1/4 c
    butter, melted

How To Make chive muffins

  • 1
    Combine first 5 ingredients in a medium bowl; make a well in center of mixture.

    Combine egg and remaining 3 ingredients; add to dry ingredients, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened.

    Spoon batter into a lightly greased muffin pan, filling two-thirds full.

    Bake at 400 for 18 minutes or until lightly browned.

    Remove from pan immediately.
