I just love muffins-these are great with chili, stew, or with lots of butter

Ingredients For cheddar muffins

  • 2 c
    flour
  • 1 Tbsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    paprika
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1 lg
    egg, beaten
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1/2 c
    sour cream
  • 1/3 c
    butter, melted
  • 1 c
    cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 c
    onion, chopped and sauted in a little butter
  • 1 tsp
    dill weed or dried parsley

How To Make cheddar muffins

  • 1
    Stir together flour, bakingpowder, salt, paprika, and sugar. Add egg, milk, sour cream, butter and cheese. Stir until blended. Fold in onions and herbs.

    Use ice cream scooper to fill greased muffing tins. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
