These are good served hot with butter and jam,Karo syrup or sorghum. Recipe is from one of my favorite chefs,Paul Prudhomme.

Ingredients For biscuit muffins

2 1/2 c flour

1/4 c sugar
-
1 1/2 t. baking powder

1/4 t. salt

1/2 c butter,softened (1 stick)

1 c cold milk
How To Make biscuit muffins

1Preheat oven to 350 deg.Combine dry ingredients.mix well,work in butter by hand till mixture resemble coarse cornmeal. Gradually add milk mixing just until dry ingredients are moistened. spoon batter into 12 greased muffin cups bake 35-40 minutes.
