I decided to post some more pancakes that have never been posted before from one of my culinary cookbooks. These are a delicious variety to any breakfast morning. Enjoy! Web Photo!

Ingredients For lemon-poppy seed hot cakes

1 1/2 cflour

1/4 csugar

1 Tbsppoppy seeds

1 tspbaking soda

1/4 tspsalt

3/4 cmilk

1/2 csour cream

2 tsplemon rind, grated

2 tsplemon, fresh juice

1egg
-
1egg white
-
lemon-scented honey
-
1 choney
-
1/2lemon, thinly sliced
How To Make lemon-poppy seed hot cakes

1Combine first five ingredients, stir well. Combine milk and next five ingredients); stir well. Add to flour mixture; stirring until smooth.

2Spoon about 1/3 cup batter for each pancake onto a hot griddle. Turn pancakes when tops are covered with bubbles and edges look cooked. Serve with Lemon-Scented Honey.
