These are delicious for any occasion. I use the same dough to make my Pecan Cinnamon Rolls. Check out that recipe too. It's guaranteed to satisfy. :)

How To Make sweet & fluffy dinner rolls
-
1Bring milk to a boil and remove from heat immediately. Add butter, salt, and sugar. Mix in well. Set aside to cool to lukewarm.
-
2Mix warm water and yeast. Mix until yeast dissolves. Add milk mixture and beaten egg. Mix until smooth. Add half of the flour. Mix until smooth then add remaining flour.
-
3Turn out on a floured surface. Knead until smooth and elastic, about 5 minutes.
-
4Place the dough into a buttered bowl. Cover and let rise for 1 1/2 hours in a warm place. I use the microwave. It's small and there are no drafts.
-
5Punch down the dough and shape it into 12 even balls. Place in a buttered baking pan. Cover and let rise an hour.
-
6Bake at 375 F until nicely browned, about 15 minutes.
-
7Brush with melted butter immediately and let rest for 5 minutes.
