This is one of the many cornbread's my Gram would make, and this was my favorite. So easy and flavorful. I love it fresh from the oven, slathered in butter.

    jiffy mixes
  • 4
    eggs
  • 1 can
    corn, drained
  • 1/2 c
    oil
  • 1 c
    mayonnaise

How To Make ~ simple savory cornbread ~

    Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Grease a 9 x 13 baking dish. In a large bowl, add all ingredients. Mix with a wooden spoon until everything is blended well.

    Pour into prepared baking dish.

    Bake for 45 - 50 minutes or until golden. I like it best straight from the oven with butter.
