2 1/2 csugar

1 cshortening
-
3eggs, beaten

3ripe bananas, mashed

1 ccranberry sauce, - i use whole berry sauce

1/2 cmilk
-
1 tspvanilla extract

4 cap flour
-
1 1/2 tspbaking soda

1 1/2 tspbaking powder
-
1 tspcinnamon
-
1/2 tspnutmeg
-
1/2 - 3/4 cchopped, walnuts
How To Make nutty banana cranberry bread

1In a large mixing bowl, beat sugar and shortening together until fluffy. Beat in eggs.

2Stir in bananas, cranberry sauce, milk and vanilla. In another bowl mix together flour, soda, baking powder, nutmeg and cinnamon.

3Gradually blend flour mixture into the banana mixture, fold in walnuts.

4Divide batter evenly between two greased 9 x 5 loaf pans.

5Bake at 350 degree for 50 - 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pans for 10 minutes; turn out onto a wire rack and cook completely.
