If you are anything like me, at the end of the week, you find yourself with a few bananas that haven't been gobbled up by the kids and are looking a bit lackluster. Once they get a few dark spots on the peel the kids won't touch them. I, however, am a smart enough woman to know that the riper the banana, the sweeter it is, making those sad looking bananas the perfect candidates for banana bread.     powdered sugar
