Ingredients For lori's famous lemon poppy seed bread

  • 1 1/2 c
    flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 3 lg
    eggs~room temp
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter~softened
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1/3 c
    lemon juice
  • 1/2 c
    vegetable oil
  • 3 tsp
    lemon extract~more or less to taste
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    poppy seeds~more or less to liking

How To Make lori's famous lemon poppy seed bread

    Preheat over to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 9X5 inch loaf pan. In a large bowl sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. In another large bowl combine eggs, sugar, butter, vanilla, lemon juice, lemon extract and mix until well blended. Add oil and mix well. Pour Wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until smooth. Fold in poppy seeds.
