This recipe was inspired from a "re-gift" I received from a co-worker who gave it to me because she's had her fill of her sister's canned Maple Nut Butters given to her every year. Not knowing what to do with it - it sat in my refrigerator for a long time, before one day, feeling like eating a dessert but not having the time to do something complicated, I looked at a can of Pillsbury Crescent Rolls that I had then looked at the jar of nut butter and came up with this. I think you'll approve, this was delicious!

Ingredients For fast and easy maple nut butter rolls

  • 1 can
    pillsbury buttery flaky crescent rolls
  • 1 jar
    maple nut butter
  • 1/2 c
    walnuts or pecans (optional)

How To Make fast and easy maple nut butter rolls

  • 1
    1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  • 2
    2. Open can of crescent rolls and close seams and flatten out to a rectangle (just as if you are doing the dough for cinnamon rolls).
  • 3
    3. Spread maple nut butter onto the dough. OPTIONAL: Sprinkle walnuts onto maple nut butter filling and dough (the amount is to your liking).
  • 4
    4. Starting on the long edge, begin rolling dough as if rolling for cinnamon rolls (watch for any openings that may happen as you roll and just close them as you go).
  • 5
    5. Slice your dough as you would cinnamon rolls.
  • 6
    6. Place your rolls on the baking sheet. At this point you can place yet MORE walnuts on top of the rolls.
  • 7
Bake for about 15 minutes or until you see that they are golden brown.
  • 8
Remove from oven when done and let cool but leave some of the warmth on them. Enjoy!
