I had a recipe handed down from an aunt. It was originally just butternut squash bread. I removed most of the oil in it. I added spice, apples, and applesauce. It is delicious. I made this into a whole new recipe. It is better than the original. I think you will be pleasantly surprised at how good it is. Yummy cinnamon spice and apples are a wonderful addition to this bread.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

Full of apples and warm spices, this apple butternut squash bread is sweet, tender, and delicious. Walnuts are spread throughout the quick bread and provide a nutty flavor and satisfying crunch. We love the sweetness the streusel topping adds. This bread will be a delicious treat in the fall with a cup of tea.
