My husband has been dabbling in different beer breads and this one is the winner! It's also a great seller for us at the Farmers Markets!

Ingredients For lori's beer bread

1/4 cbutter~softened

3 cbisquick
-
1/3 csugar

1 bottlebeer~your choice
How To Make lori's beer bread

1Heat oven to 375 degrees. Grease bottom only of a 9X5 loaf pan with butter. In large bowl stir together Bisquick, Sugar and Beer with a whisk until well blended. Pour into pan and bake 45 to 55 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

2In a small microwave bowl, microwave remaining 2 to 3 tablespoons of butter on high until melted and brush over the warm loaf. Cool 15 minutes before slicing.

3**NOTE~We preferred to use a dark lager type beer! This bread goes well with soup or spreading butter and drizzling honey on top! Ymmmmm!
