Ingredients For apple nut muffins

  • 1/3 c
    buttermilk
  • 1/4 c
    water
  • 1
    egg
  • 3 Tbsp
    honey
  • 1/2 c
    whole wheat flour
  • 2/3 c
    wheat bran
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 c
    coarsely chopped apple (with skin)
  • 1/3 c
    grated carrot
  • 3 Tbsp
    chopped walnuts

How To Make apple nut muffins

  • 1
    Stir together buttermilk, water, eggs and honey in 2 cup measuring glass. Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add liquids, along with remaining ingredients. Bake in muffin tins at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
