Ingredients For cornmeal cheddar biscuits

1 1/2 call purpose flour or bread flour

1/2 cself-rising buttermilk corn meal

2 Tbspsugar

1 Tbspbaking powder

1/2 tspsalt

1/2 cbutter, softened

3/4 cshredded cheddar

1 1/4 cmilk (buttermilk is great in this!)
How To Make cornmeal cheddar biscuits

1In a bowl, combine dry ingredients.

2Cut in butter until crumbly

3Stir in cheese and milk.

4Drop by serving spoon (about 1/4 cup) onto a sprayed baking sheet. Bake at 450 for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
