Biscuits weren't really my "thing" until I tried using wheat flour. Now I really like to make them for special meals. I hope you enjoy them!

Ingredients For whole wheat biscuits

1 call purpose flour

1/2 cwhole wheat flour

2 Tbspsugar

1/2 tspbaking powder

1/2 tspsalt
-
1/2 cmilk

3 Tbspcanola oil
How To Make whole wheat biscuits

1Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt, mix well.

2Combine milk and oil: stir into dry ingredients just until moistened.

3Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface, and knead 3 or 4 times.

4Roll dough to 1/2" thick; cut with a 2 1/2" biscuit cutter.

5Place on a ungreased baking sheet.

6Bake at 400 for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
