Ingredients For velvet cream biscuits

4 call purpose flour

2 Tbspbaking powder

1 tspsalt

2 Tbspsugar

2 1/2 cwhipping cream, more if needed

1/4 cbutter, melted
How To Make velvet cream biscuits

1Combine first 4 ingredients, then add whipping cream and stir until dry ingredients are moistened. Can use a little more cream if needed, your dough should come together but not be loose.

2Turn dough out onto a well floured surface and knead 10 to 12 times. Roll dough to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut with a 2 inch biscuit cutter and place on lightly greased baking sheets.

3Brush with melted butter. Bake at 400 degrees 12 to 14 minutes or until golden brown 2 1/2 dozen. These freeze well. I heat them up in my microwave about 1-2 minutes.
