Ingredients For tropical biscuits

  • 2 cups white flour
  • 2 1/2 tbsp white sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup toasted coconut flakes
  • 1/4 cup coarsely chopped macadamia nuts
  • 1/4 cup cold butter, diced
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract or vanilla seeds
  • 1 large ripe banana, mashed

How To Make tropical biscuits

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a large bowl combine the following ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, soda, salt, cinnamon, coconut and macadamia nuts and mix well. Now cut in the butter until mixture is crumbly.

    In a small bowl add the milk, vanilla extract or vanilla seeds and banana together, mixing well.

    Make a well in the center of the flour bowl and pour in the milk mixture, do not over stir, you only want to moisten the batter.

    With a large spoon drop the dough onto a greased sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 15 - 20 minutes. Check at 15 minute mark.
