Ingredients For st. patrick’s day biscuits

2 csifted flour

3 tspbaking powder

1 tspsalt

1/3 cshortening
-
3/4 cmilk

green food gel or paste
How To Make st. patrick’s day biscuits

1Preheat oven to 425F. In a bowl, combine the dry ingredients. Cut in the shortening until the mixture resembles coarse meal. Add milk; stir until blended. Transfer dough to a lightly floured surface. Add a little bit of green gel food coloring paste and knead lightly until the color is marbled through - 8 to 10 times. Roll dough to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut with a floured cutter.

2Bake on an ungreased baking sheet for 10 - 12 minutes.
