Ingredients For southern fried apples

5-6 mdapples, sweet and juicy

1 cwhite sugar

1/4 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

1 stickbutter, not margarine
How To Make southern fried apples

1Slice butter in bottom of a 12' skillet. Peel, core and quarter apples, add to skillet.

2Pour in white sugar and brown sugar.

3Over medium high heat bring apples to a boil stirring frequently.

4Reduce heat to medium low and cook until apples are tender and juicy. Stirring frequently to prevent scorching. Serve solo or over piping hot, fresh from the oven, homemade biscuits.
