I couldn't wait to wake up this morning and make some of these with my homemade rhubarb freezer jam that I made last night. Since this jam not only has rhubarb in it but also pineapple and strawberry jello it is one flavorful combination that makes the most delicious shortcakes this side of Heaven.

Ingredients For rhubarb shortcake

  • 1 md
    drop biscuit made from bisquick (still warm from oven)
  • 3 lg
    heaping tablespoons of cool whip or whipped cream
  • 2 - 3 Tbsp
    rhubarb freezer jam

How To Make rhubarb shortcake

    Make up as many drop biscuits as you need. Slice in half and butter them just a little. Then add some cool whip and several spoonful's of Rhubarb Freezer Jam. Now, time to enjoy the most delicious shortcake this side of Heaven! Serve for breakfast, brunch or just a simple dessert after dinner.
