Ingredients For pumpkin biscuts

  • 2 c
    all purpose-flour
  • 1fourth c
    sugar
  • 4 3/4 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1half tsp
    eash-salt,ground cinnamon,and nutmeg
  • 1half c
    butter or margarine
  • 1 third c
    pecans chopped (optional)
  • 2 thirds c
    cooked,mashed pumpkin or canned solid packed packed pumpkin
  • 1 third c
    half and half

How To Make pumpkin biscuts

  • 1
    Sift dry ingredients together. Cut butter into flour mixture until it resembles peas. Stir in pecans. IN a glass measuring cup combine pumpkin and half and half. Stir into flour mixture.Dought should be stiff . Turn dough onto floured board and knead several times. If dough is still sticky add a little more flour while kneading. Roll to one half inch thick and cut with two inch cutter.Place on a lightly greased baking sheet. Bake at 400 degree for 12-15 minutes until golden brown Makes 12-16 biscuts.
