  • 21/4 tsp
    salt
  • 3
    eggs
  • 3 c
    milk
  • 2 1/4 c
    shortening or lard
  • 1 stick
    real butter melted
  • pastry brush

How To Make mile high biscuits

    IN A LARGE BOWL MIX ALL DRY INGREDIENTS TOGETHER.IN A SEPERATE BOWL ADD EGGS AND MILK AND WHIP ,THEN AND MILK TO DRY INGREDIENTS AND MIX WELL.KNEAD IN TO A BALL . TEAR OFF PIRCES TILL YOU HAVE THE SIZE OF A TENNIS BALL FLATTEN WITH PALM OF HAND OR ROLL OUT TO 2"THICK AND CUT WITH BISCUIT CUTTER PLACE ALL BISCUITS ON COOKIE SHEET THEN WITH A SPOON DENT THE TOP AND WITH A PASTRY BRUSH ,BRUSH WITH MELTED BUTTER. BAKE 15 MINUTES IN A 450 DEGREE OVEN
