Ingredients For lovin from my oven - ham n cheddar biscuits

1 cflour

1 tspbaking powder

1/2 tspbaking soda

1/4 - 1/2 tspsalt

1/4 cbutter, chilled and cut into small pieces

1/3 cbuttermilk or a little more if needed

1/4 csharp cheddar cheese, shredded

1/4 cminced ham
-
2 Tbspminced onion
-
1 tspspicy brown mustard
How To Make lovin from my oven - ham n cheddar biscuits

1Preheat oven to 450 degree F. Grease baking pan or dish well. - I use a pie plate so biscuits touch nicely.

2I also use my food processor for mixing flour, salt baking powder, and baking soda...then I add the milk. Pulse a few times till blended...I then pour into a medium sized bowl. Add the remaining ingredients; stir in to combine well.

3If no processor... In a medium sized bowl, sift together flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Add butter and cut in with pastry blender until mixture looks like coarse meal. Blend in cheese, ham, mustard, and onions. Add buttermilk, stirring until dough is soft.

4Knead lightly on floured surface.

5Roll to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut with a 2 inch cutter and place on prepared baking sheet.

6Bake 10 minutes or until golden in color.
